New York's Safe Flight Instrument Corp has won FAA approval of its Enhanced AutoPower expanded automatic throttle system for Bombardier's Challenger 604 business jet. The system was installed and certified under an STC by Bombardier Business Aviation Services in Tucson. It includes full-regime thrust control for all phases of flight, engine synchronization, and integration with Bombardier's PrecisionPlus avionics upgrade to the Challenger 604.
