Belfort Instrument, which says it's the oldest weather company in the world, celebrated its 125th anniversary on September 12. Belfort Instrument began developing meteorological instruments through extensive cooperation with the then newly formed U.S. Weather Bureau. Through these efforts, the Belfort Observatory became the first meteorological Observatory and Instrument Laboratory in the United States in 1896.
