Eaton Aerospace was selected by Gulfstream to be the engine build up systems integrator for their new GIV-SP aircraft. The award covers design, engineering and certification of the 12 subsystems that make up the EBU. Total value of the program is about $30 million over 10 years. The Gulfstream EBU system consists of all of the fluid and electrical sub-systems that connect the power plant to the airframe, including engine bleed air, hydraulics, fuel fire detection/suppression, oil, and electrical harnesses.
