Don't Lose Your Head Fly MD

MD Helicopters' twin-engine Explorer helicopter is a growing presence in the corporate market, according to the company. Out of 83 Explorers in service worldwide, fifteen are in corporate use. The latest of these will be delivered to UK-based Mandarin Ltd. in February. A key advantage of the no-tail-rotor Explorer, according to MD Helicopters, is that it is safer for passengers walking near the aircraft.

PT Airfast in Indonesia recently took delivery of two Explorers and is to start operations to oil platforms in the Java Sea this month. They are the first Explorers to enter service in the oil-support mission.
