Ae270 Broadens U.S. Sales Base

Ibis Aerospace recently expanded its U.S. marketing campaign with the appointment of Stevens Aviation as distributor and service center for the Ae270 propjet in lower Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and portions of North and South Carolina.

The selection of Stevens follows the announcement at the Paris Air Show of three other distributors: Piedmont Hawthorne, based in Winston-Salem, N.C., Ibis Aircraft Sales in Australia, and CDC Aviation in Johannesburg.

The Ae270, built by partners in the Czech Republic and Taiwan, is a an eight-passenger, two-crew single engined turboprop aircraft.

Flight testing began in July last year, and four prototypes are working towards certification next year.
Ibis Aerospace is here in Booth 5140.
