P&WC Sets Up an ER

Pratt & Whitney Canada has introduced a quick turnaround heavy maintenance facility for business aircraft engines at its Montreal headquarters that allows specific maintenance jobs to be done outside the routine complete overhaul procedure. "It's kind of an emergency room," said P&WC president & CEO Gilles Ouimet. "This line provides very quick turnaround and reduced cost for specific repairs and hot section modifications without having to have a complete engine overhaul."
