Delta Tech Ops Wins Support Contract for NetJets BBJs

Delta Technical Operations was recently selected by Boeing to provide inventory support, component maintenance and engineering services for 29 Boeing Business Jets that will be part of the NetJets fleet. Annual deliveries of BBJs into the NetJets fleet will run from 2001 to 2006, with Delta Tech Ops providing contracted maintenance support for each aircraft for 10 years after delivery to NetJets.

"Delta Air Lines' Technical Operations division has a superior reputation for providing excellent aircraft and engine maintenance services in a reliable, consistent and comprehensive manner," said Pat Repetowski, director of the NetJets fleet at Boeing Business Jets. "Delta also brought to the table a long history of successful operation of the Boeing 737. Their knowledge and experience with the airplane and its systems will prove extremely valuable to performance of the NetJets operation," he said.

Delta Tech Ops Component Maintenance division is also gearing the many services it can offer for Boeing Business Jets, and recently it added Canadair CRJs as well. They include a full range of MRO for many airframe and engine components, as well as engineering, on-wing composite repair and inventory support.
