Fractional Piaggio Avantis?

"We are seriously investigating the future potential of the Piaggio P.180 Avanti for a fractional ownership program," says Massimo Isidori, Piaggio sales VP for Europe and Middle East. "It could be a direct Piaggio-run program or involvement with an existing player," he says. "If we had 20 aircraft that we could deliver straight away, we would already be involved in fractional ownership," seconds chief test pilot Giuliano Currado. The P.180 Avanti could be an excellent platform for Medevac missions, Piaggio says. Its large cabin, and a maximum cabin pressure differential of 9 psi giving sea level altitude up to 24,000 feet, could be vital for some medical conditions. Trials with a guided slider system that swivels a patient litter aboard are already underway, Isidori reports.
