Long, Long Legs for Envoy 7

Honeywell Secan has snagged a potential $50 million order from Fairchild Dornier to equip Envoy 7 corporate jets with extended range fuel tanks. The deal would cover 100-125 aircraft, with the first tanks to be delivered in 2003. With the additional gear, the range of a 728JET in a 70-passenger configuration would be boosted from 1,400 nmi to 4,200 nmi.
