USAIG Helo Training Support Tops the Million-Dollar Mark

USAIG, the U.S. Aircraft Insurance Group, has contributed $1,285,000 over the past four years toward training of Bell and American Eurocopter operators.

Operators can get up to $30,000 per year to be spent on flight or maintenance training through the manufacturers and, for Bell, via FlightSafety International as well.

As of the first of this month there were 53 Bell and Eurocopter operators with 191 aircraft taking part in USAIG's "Preferred Policyholder" program. A new USAIG study indicates that participants have indeed had fewer accidents over the past three years.
