Vector Targets Military MRO

Vector Aerospace of St. Johns, Newfoundland, has won three significant maintenance and modification contracts for military operators. The first was a $15.5 million contract for overhaul and refurbishment of the Venezuelan Army's fleet of Agusta/Sikorsky AS-61D helicopters. The second contract is in support of main gearboxes for Sikorsky S61 helicopters operated by the government of Tunisia. The $2.5 million pact, worth up to $6 million with options, was awarded in support of U.S. Foreign Military Sales. The third contract, valued at $4.5 million, was awarded by Honduras for refurbishment of Bell 412 and MD500 helicopters. The contract also provides in-country support and technical training.
