Ho Expands in Hong Kong

Stanley Ho, the Macau gambling tycoon, is reportedly proposing a helicopter link between the Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports to meet cross-border traffic demand. The link would appeal to Taiwanese business people on their way to the mainland because the trip would be faster than the current three-to-four-hour bus ride. Passengers would pass through Hong Kong's Chek Lap Kok airport without going through the city's immigration and customs. Passengers and freight can't travel directly between Taipei and China and must instead travel via a third jurisdiction, usually Hong Kong or Macau.
