HFI Launches
Heritage Hall of Fame
Helicopter Foundation International will inaugurate
its Heritage Hall of Fame award at 5:00pm Monday, in Hall D, with
the induction of Igor Sikorsky and Carl Brady as first recipients
of the HFI honor. "The HFI board of directors created this
award to honor helicopter professionals whose work has been vital
to the development and evolution of the helicopter industry,"
said HFI chair Brenda Reuland. The Agusta Heritage Trophy, named
for the underwriters of the award, will be made to Brady and to
Sikorsky's son Sergei during the celebration reception. In addition
to the award, HFI has arranged a grand prize drawing for a two-year
lease on a DaimlerChrysler PT Cruiser-tickets are available at Booth
2267. The new award will be bestowed annually.
