Will Arrive Here in Late Spring

Custom Aircraft Completions is preparing the first two VIP EC 155s in the U.S.

The first two of Eurocopter's "S-76 killing" EC 155s are being prepared in New Jersey to enter service here in late spring, one with Fred Drasner, co-chairman of U.S. News and World Report and co-publisher of the New York Daily News, and the other in a similar VIP role in Florida.

The new EC 155s earned their nickname following Eurocopter's they offer one third more cabin size than an S-76 for nine-tenths of the price for a similarly equipped aircraft. But the contest will have to wait. Only a limited number of EC 155s are available here this year due to sales demand elsewhere in the world, and S-76 production is also limited until next year.
