Thales Signs for CRJ-900

Thales Avionics Canada (formerly Thomson-CSF-Sextant) has contracted with Bombardier Aerospace to provide the secondary flight control system and stall protection system for the CRJ-900. Thales is systems integrator and a risk-sharing partner on the CRJ-900 program. It also provides the integrated electronic standby instrument system on the 90-seat regional transport, the prototype of which is now in flight test at Bombardier's Wichita, Kansas facility.
