Veridian Tests 728JET FCS

Fairchild Dornier has wrapped an initial round of test flights of the fly-by-wire flight control system for the 728JET using a Veridian Flight Research Group Learjet. A series of 10 test flights was made at Veridian's facility in Buffalo, New York earlier this year with 728JET aerodynamics and flight control parameters loaded into the Lear's computers to replicate the stability and control characteristics of the new airliner.
