Universal Avionics' TAWS for GIII

With its new Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) now a reality-certified last month on the GIII and several more applications pending-Universal Avionics Systems is showing off its range of products here at EBACE (Booth 7431). Among them: its UNS-1 Flight Management System (FMS) with five-inch diagonal display, and its MFD 550 and 640 Flat Panel Integrated Multi-Function Displays. Northwest Airlines last month selected the MFD 640 for retrofit in its fleet of 162 DC-9 aircraft.
Universal Avionics is also displaying its Satcom Aero-I and Aero-M systems, as well as its UniVision cabin display system.
