Honeywell's E-Engine GE-nerates Strong Response

Half of Honeywell's MSP accounts are active E-Engine.

The Internet-based E-Engine aircraft and maintenance program launched by Honeywell at NBAA last October has gotten off to a flying start. "We have 150 operators on line now, and we're adding 50 per month," Rob Richardson, manager of engine aftermarket services, told Show News. Some 20% are from Europe, reflecting the proportion of TFE731 users here. (See Honeywell at Booth 7228).

E-Engine encompasses engine condition trend monitoring (ECTM), an electronic logbook, spectrometric oil analysis, manual data reduction and analysis, service bulletins and operation information letters, and MSP account management.
