Condit's Office in the Sky BBJ Is Also a Home From Home
Phil Condit uses Boeing's Connexion communications system on his BBJ.

Boeing's demonstrator BBJ, seen here at EBACE, is used extensively
by Boeing chairman and CEO Phil Condit as his office in the sky.
It's a quantum leap from one of the company's four much smaller
Bombardier Challengers, which do not have the bed, shower and high
speed communications system of the BBJ.
"The BBJ saves him a lot of time over the Challenger because
he can sleep, shower and answer his e-mail in it instead of going
to a downtown hotel," said BBJ president Borge Boeskov. What
was a nine day globe-trotting trip can now be shortened to 4-1/2
days, he said, as Condit lives on the airplane instead of making
time-consuming overnight stopovers at five star hotels.
The BBJ's bedroom in the sky can whisk Condit to the next destination
in the time he would otherwise spend sleeping downtown, ensuring
he arrives rested and raring to go, Boeskov said.
