Virgin Eyes Bizjet Fleet

Virgin Atlantic is exploring luxury daily services for Concorde-type passengers to New York and Dubai from London, but with corporate jets.

"We are talking to everyone -including Bombardier, Airbus and Boeing-and looking at what they can offer because we know that corporations, governments and wealthy individuals are definitely looking for this type of exclusive travel," the airline told Show News.

Virgin envisages 18 passengers enjoying flat-bed seating as in its Upper Class service, with pre-selected or haute cuisine catering. It sees potential for developing a business jet service to a number of U.S. and Middle East destinations which do not currently justify a standard airline service.
