Lufthansa Technik Expands Business Aircraft Servicing

With three business jet facilities in Germany serving the European market and an MRO operation in the U.S., Lufthansa Technik AG is expanding its capability in this fast-growing market sector by supplementing its well-established Total Technical Support service for airliners with a similar package for smaller aircraft. LHT says the TTS service package will offer customers a wider, more flexible choice among a variety of MRO services for the VIP sector (widebodies) and XXL Class (BBJ and ACJ), tailored to the technical features and operating conditions of the customer's specific aircraft.

Available options range from engine MRO, maintenance management, component overhaul and spares pooling to general overhauls at the company's one million square meter headquarters at Hamburg, Germany. LHT offers 24-hours AOG spares dispatch service to anywhere in the world. The company currently services 29 business and VIP aircraft, in addition to a number of government-operated airplanes, including the German government's fleet of Airbus A310s.
