Shell Looks to Expand AeroJet Availability

Shell Aviation is here at EBACE (Booth 7225) to promote its AeroJet fuel to the business aviation community as a means of minimizing or eliminating problems previously associated with the use of Jet A1 in business jets, turboprops and helicopters.

Shell AeroJet uses a delivery system that automatically incorporates anti-icing, anti-fungal and anti-static additives at the pump, ensuring a consistent mixture. It is currently available at 80 locations worldwide, including Dusseldorf in Germany, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Bromma-Stockholm in Sweden and sites in Australia, New Zealand, South America and the Pacific Islands. Shell plans to add a further 30 locations this year, primarily in Europe.

At EBACE Shell representatives hope to obtain feedback from exhibitors and visitors on possible future outlets for the fuel, and will particularly welcome an opportunity to promote the fuel among pilots and operators from the U.S., where the company does not presently have a branded FBO chain.
