Hertrich Is DASA's New President and CEO

Asian Aerospace 2000 -- Rainer Hertrich, joint CEO-elect of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), has been appointed president and CEO of DASA, it was announced here yesterday. He will succeed Manfred Bischoff, who in turn will take over from Jurgen Schrempp as chairman of the supervisory board of DaimlerChrysler, with responsibility for all non-automotive activities.
