Heli-Asia Set for 2001

Singapore -- Heli-Asia 2000, the region's only dedicated civil/military helicopter marketing event and the world's third largest helicopter show with more than 150 exhibitors, will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 24-26 next year.

"It is being launched during a marked resurgence in the region's economic fortunes," noted Alex Shephard, chairman of the organizers, Shephard Group.

"Recent contract successes by European companies such as Eurocopter and GKN Westland indicate the region's potential for helicopter sales is improving."
