Textron Systems Offers Terrain Commander to Australia

Asian Aerospace 2000 -- Bidding for the Ninox Australian remote-area surveillance system requirement, Textron Systems is offering its Terrain Commander unmanned surveillance post. Unlike other basic intrusion detection systems, Commander remotely identifies and tracks moving objects and provides visual confirmation. However, images are only transmitted when specified activity is detected, so enabling large areas to be monitored by just one central facility. All field items can be buried or camouflaged, while satellite communications give the potential for unlimited range.
