MyAircraft.com Arrives as UTC and
Honeywell Forge E-Business Partnership

Singapore -- Yet another step forward in the surging e-business realm came on 14 February when United Technologies and Honeywell unveiled MyAircraft.com.

MyAircraft.com is a joint venture dedicated to developing and operating an electronic marketplace for aerospace products and services, open to all industry participants. Using i2's TradeMatrix platform, the new e-marketplace will provide business-to-business (B-to-B) collaboration, supply chain management, parts planning and procurement solutions.

The open internet market will enable airlines, OEMs and suppliers to manage, buy, sell and trade parts and services, demand-forecasting and inventory planning, and to access technical experts or view on-line publications and technical manuals. A web-enabled supply chain will include multi-enterprise participation, procurement and bid-auction capabilities to streamline operations and provide visibility across the entire aerospace industry.
MyAircraft.com is to allow participants to reduce their cycle times, improve transaction flows and manage their parts inventories-doing more, faster and cheaper.
