| 'World's Most Advance' Fighter Cockpit at the Show Asian Aerospace 2000 -- Visitors to Asian Aerospace are able to see a high-technology fighter cockpit demonstrated by Elbit Systems of Israel under the name of FlightShow. Known as a glass cockpit because it uses multifunction display screens to show the data previously to be found on traditional circular dials, FlightShow combines flight simulation with a virtual environment, enabling detailed presentation to be made of Elbit's various technological building blocks, turnkey programs and specific platform upgrades. Central features include a pair of 6-by-8-inch color displays and one 5-by-5-inch, plus a head-up display with upfront switches and hands-on-throttle-and-stick controls. Additionally, the Elbit DASH display and sighting helmet is part of the presentation.
