Finova Refurbishing Jetstream 31s

Arizona's Finova Capital/Transportation Finance (Booth 1710), in what it describes as a strategic shift from commercial aircraft financing, is converting Jetstream 31 twin turboprops from 19-seat airline layout to corporate configuration.

"We had a fleet of aircraft coming off lease with a lot of usable time left on them, and we knew that converted Jetstreams have become increasingly popular for corporate and charter use," says marketing VP Jeff Ferm.

Finova's converted 31s may be had for as little as $1.25 million depending on which of three basic cabin options is chosen and on general used aircraft condition.

"We're able to fully customize the aircraft to suit any client," Ferm says. "Our aircraft is about half the price of the nearest competition while providing about four times the mission capabilities dollar for dollar."
