Selling Aircraft, Lending Money
Norwalk, CT-based DaimlerChrysler Capital Services is here at
Booth 3950 with "a large delegation if aircraft finance professionals"
offering help in both helicopter and corporate aviation markets.
"Of particular interest," the company says, is a new
vendor program for financing sales of new Raytheon aircraft.
DaimlerChrysler Capital notes its deep roots in aerospace, as
its parent DaimlerChrysler AG has a major stake in the new European
Aeronautic Defense and Space Company, and through EADS has a piece
of such aircraft-manufacturing giants as Airbus, Dassault Falcon
and Eurocopter.
DaimlerChrysler Aviation, the former Pentastar Aviation, doubles
as the parent company's flight department and also provides worldwide
aviation services. Amsterdam-based AirFinance BV, a major lessor
of aircraft to the world's airlines, is a DaimlerChrysler Capital
sister company.
And if you like the look of the Mercedes-Benz CL 500 automobile
on the DaimlerChrysler Capital display, it's being raffled-a 13-month
lease, that is.
