FMS on a PC From Honeywell

Honeywell has signed an agreement with FlightSafety International to provide the first PC-based software for training business and regional aircraft customers operating Honeywell's FMZ-2000 family of flight management system (FMS) avionics.
The PC-FMS is a personal computer version of the FMZ-2000 that will use authentic FMS aircraft code.

"Our new PC-FMS software will help flight departments reduce their training costs, while allowing flight crews to review and practice to proficiency FMS procedure with their personal computers at home or on the road," said Honeywell Commercial Electronic Systems's John Uczekaj. He is VP for business, regional and helicopter programs.
