Bombardier Over Japan: First CRJ
Enters Service in Sendai Next Month

The first Bombardier CRJ is set to enter service in Japan early next month. The 50-passenger twinjet is one of two used CRJs acquired by The Fair, Inc., and will be based in Sendai. They are to be operated on business routes such as Hiroshima-Nishi and Tokyo's Haneda Airport, according to Jun Okawara, The Fair's president and CEO. All Nippon Airways has been contracted to provide flight crew, maintenance and flight operations assistance. The Fair also has two new CRJs on firm order for delivery in 2002.
