Aviation Week's Best-Managed Companies Awards

The co-founder, co-Chairman and CEO of SAP, AG, Hasso Plattner, is the keynote speaker tomorrow morning at Aviation Week's "Best-Managed Companies Awards & Executive Symposium," to be held here at the Farnborough International Air Show. Plattner will discuss the role of the Internet and e-commerce in helping companies become the best in the business. Aviation Week employs a sophisticated and exclusive "Competitiveness Index" to determine the aviation and aerospace companies that are "best managed."
Scheduled to speak from the winning companies are: Robert E. Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier, Inc.; Eric Honegger, Chairman, SAirGROUP; James R. Stanley, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Howmet International, Inc.; Clive Snowdon, Chief Executive, UMECO PLC; Jerry C. Atkin, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, SkyWest, Inc.; Michael O'Leary, Chief Executive, Ryanair Holdings PLC. The symposium takes place at 9.30 a.m. in the Media Centre at Farnborough and is free of charge.
