Sikorsky Unit Takes Special Forces Helicopter Support from USAF

Sikorsky Support Services has signed a contract to take over from U.S. Air Force personnel the maintenance of 20 helicopters used for Special Forces training. The one-year contract, worth $41 million if it runs for the optioned further seven years, covers 10 HH-60Gs and six UH-1Ns at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico and four UH-1Ns at Fairchild AFB, Washington, which are used for Special Forces' survival training.
