| Galaxy Aerospace Makes Galaxy Aerospace is promoting several new initiatives for customers of the Galaxy business jet, guaranteeing the aircraft's reliability and operating costs. For the first two years of ownership Galaxy will undertake to rectify any AOG incidents within 72 hours, or provide a back-up aircraft until the problem is solved. A rapid-response team will be standing by to provide immediate technical support and, if their efforts are unsuccessful, Galaxy Aerospace will supply one of its own aircraft or a charter alternative. Galaxy has furthermore pledged that the direct operating costs of the Galaxy business jet will not exceed $850 per hour over the first five years of its service career, or 2,000 hours of operations-whichever occurs first.
"We are not aware of any other manufacturer that provides
this level of support," said Galaxy president and CEO Brian
Barents. "The message we are sending to our customers is
this: regardless of the flight status of your aircraft, we will
support your transportation requirements. We think that this is
a powerful marketing proposition and demonstration of our commitment
to our operators." | ||||||
