Join us for the MRO Asia Awards program. Intended to recognize companies operating in the Asia-Pacific region for excellence in aviation/aerospace aftermarket operations, this years awards will honor MRO excellence in two categories:
- 2009 Best Asia-Pacific Airline MRO Operation Award
MAS Engineering has used creative strategies to expand its capabilities and to strengthen its position as the global marketplace recovers. Over the past year, it has responded in progressive ways to customer demand, providing parking and maintenance packages, offering pay-by-the-hour maintenance programs as an option for start-up carriers, and forming joint ventures with India's Hyderabad International Airport, Alenia Aeronavali, and EADS-SECA to grow its capabilities. It also expanded its proprietary footprint with the acquisition of Transmile Group, a purchase that will increase its capacity by 15% and make it one of the largest airframe MROs in Asia-Pacific. In maintenance training, airframe work and component repair, MAS Engineering has positioned itself well to take advantage of resurgent opportunities.
- 2009 Best Asia-Pacific Independent MRO Operation Award
