Congratulations!FAA’s James Ballough, myTECHNIC’s Daglar Cizmeci, and International Lease Finance’s Richard Poutier receive AVIATION WEEK Overhaul & Maintenance Awards Air Transport Association Nuts & Bolts Awards go to Ronald Utecht of TIMCO and Oliver Martins of American Airlines AVIATION WEEK awarded its 2009 Overhaul & Maintenance (O&M) Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) to two professionals for exemplary leadership: Daglar Cizmeci, CFO, myTECHNIC Aircraft MRO Services, and Richard Poutier, SVP of technical operations for International Lease Finance Corp. In addition, the 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to James Ballough, former director of the Federal Aviation Administration's Flight Standards Service. The Air Transport Association’s Engineering, Maintenance and Materiel Council (ATA EMMC) awarded its 42nd annual Nuts & Bolts Awards to Ronald D. Utecht, CEO, president, and COO, TIMCO Aviation Services, and Oliver S. Martins, VP Engineering/Quality Assurance & Planning, American Airlines. The O&M Awards honor managers and executives who have improved the efficiency, profitability, reliability and safety of MRO at their companies and for the MRO industry as a whole. Similarly, the ATA Nuts & Bolts Awards recognize outstanding service and contributions to the airline industry. The two groups, AVIATION WEEK and ATA, have partnered since 2001 to bring the awards ceremony to MRO Americas, facilitating incomparable networking opportunities for participants and aviation industry leaders at the annual tradeshow and educational event.
