Aviation Week’s Top-Performing Companies (TPC ) study is designed to assess the true operational performance of publicly traded companies in the aerospace, defense and airline industries. The annual study uses a rigorous set of metrics to cut through market hype and identify how well a company is executing on its business strategy. Companies are ranked against their peers in two sets of tables: a one-year “snapshot“ and a separate comparison that shows how each firm’s TPC score has improved or declined during the past five years.
