Lufthansa Technik is adding a line maintenance station at Brussels Charleroi airport to support a new contract with low-cost carrier Ryanair. LHT Brussels will provide line maintenance services for up to eight Ryanair 737-800s under the agreement, which includes an option to ramp up support if Ryanair adds more aircraft at its Brussels base.

The new line maintenance station at Brussels South Charleroi Airport will provide Ryanair with night-stop services including defect rectification as well as on-call services and logistical and administrative support.
