Mexican Carrier Links To Texas Bus Service

Sep 2, 2008

Mexican low-cost carrier VivaAerobus has introduced a low-cost combo to the downtown area of Texas cities Austin and San Antonio by linking to bus shuttles.

The bus takes passengers from downtown Austin or San Antonio to their respective airports where they check in for their VivaAerobus flights to several Mexico cities.

The shuttle service costs $20 per person, and according to the air carrier's Public Relations Director Juan Carlos Zuazua, "It's a great value in convenience and time gained for passengers who fly, for instance, to and from Monterrey and Cancun."

Zuazua also says airfares between San Antonio and Mexico have increased sharply recently, and this new service is a bargain for business and leisure travelers on a budget.

In San Antonio, free parking is available at the bus terminals for shuttle users.
