Piper Aircraft President John Becker is leaving the company, less than six months after assuming the post from former CEO James Bass. The resignation was first reported by WPTV.com and TCPalm.com.
Becker's departure is said to be effective Dec.1, according to a letter to employees from Piper's Vice President of Human Resources, Steve Johnston The letter said Becker was leaving to pursue other career opportunities.
Becker was Piper's vice president of engineering before being named president..
Piper was purchased in May by Imprimis, a corporate finance and investment management firm backed by the Brunei Darussalam Ministry of Finance.
