Integrating Cabin Interiors

Aircraft cabins are a marketing tool and service differentiator. However, highly customized aircraft interiors also can be costly and require a lot of engineering and supply chain coordination.

Three companies that recognized these concepts formed the Cabin Circle, which handles research and development, design, ergonomics, engineering and testing for cabin interiors.

According to Luftfahrtstandorf Hamburg's latest newsletter, "The first task to be tackled by the Cabin Circle will be a research project on a simplified cabin outfitting by order of Airbus Operations in Hamburg."

The three companies of Cabin Circle include Ferchau Aviation, Muller 1 Romca Industrial Design and TUV Rheinland Group.
