Practical Engineering, Stealth Motorcycle

In the last couple weeks I have heard the term "skill set" mentioned frequently. As program management, mission/operation and technologies change, the aviation industry's employment needs obviously shift, too. Training and skill development, however, never should go out of style, right?

Here's a training opportunity: Next week, Nov. 10-12, Northrop Grumman, SAE and the Society of Mechanical Engineers are co-sponsoring an Aerospace Early Career Technical Seminar in Seattle to help new engineers "bridge the gap between the technical foundation they acquired in college and the practical knowledge they need to succeed on the job."
