Linkfest: Congressional Hearings on Afghanistan
Here is a quick list of the U.S. congressional hearings this week following President Barack Obama's speech on his Afghanistan policy. The witnesses are usually the U.S. secretaries of state and defense, as well as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Here's my Capitol reporter's obvious-tip-of-the-week: focus on the first hearing - here, the SASC - as that is where the testimony is new and the reaction most visceral following any news event.
