DHS's Chertoff Offers Reflections As He Departs

A spokesperson from the Dept. of Homeland Security's public affairs office dropped me an email the Friday before last inviting me to what it called Secretary Michael Chertoff's last bloggers roundtable before the Obama Administration takes over.  The invite was a bit last minute, and I had a conflct that I couldn't reschedule.  Plus I had just done a bloggers roundtable with Chertoff and TSA Chief Kip Hawley.

But after reading Rich Cooper of the Security Brief blog's (who I had the pleasure of meeting at that previous roundtable) account of the meeting, I'm actually sorry I missed it.  It seemed that Chertoff was in a reflective mood, and there was a freewheeling discussion.  You can can read a transcript of the entire roundtable here.
