The U.S. Homeland Security Dept.'s US-VISIT program has not fully met any of the 11 legislative conditions laid out in the 2008 Appropriations Act, the Government Accountability Office found in a report released last week, reports Aviation Daily (subscribers only). The GAO report said there are "significant" limitations with the DHS plan.

The soap opera over Palmdale Regional Airport continues. In our latest episode, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors want to know what plans Los Angeles World Airports has for 17,000 acres of land it bought in the city for a proposed international airport, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Ryanair has finally won a court challenge. The European Court of First Instance has ruled that the EU can't block discounts the Irish low-cost carrier received from Belgium's Charleroi Airport, reports the Irish Times.
