AVIATION WEEK Executive Team

Tom Henricks, President

Tom joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2006. Previously, Tom was a Vice President at Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. and the V-22 Deputy Director, an exchange assignment with Boeing Inc. Additionally, Tom held executive positions with Textron Information Services and The Timken Company. He is also a Six Sigma Black Belt.

As a NASA astronaut, Tom flew four Space Shuttle missions as commander and pilot. Tom is a retired U. S. Air Force colonel and served as a commander, F-16 test pilot, and F-4 fighter pilot. He is a graduate of the U. S. Air Force's Test Pilot School and Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun). Tom is an owner/operator of a 1940 Stearman bi-plane.

He graduated from the U. S. Air Force Academy and has a MPA from Golden Gate University.

Mark Flinn, Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing

Mark is responsible for the overall portfolio with regard to sales, marketing communications and the AVIATION WEEK brand. With over 20 years in the media business, Mark brings an extensive background in sales and sales management in a variety of media, including print, online and broadcast.

Prior to joining AVIATION WEEK, Mark was the Vice President of Sales for BusinessWeek, overseeing their Eastern region and BusinessWeektv. He also served as VP of Sales and eCommerce for BusinessWeek.com. Mark has held numerous sales and management positions for several McGraw-Hill Companies' products. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specializing in Marketing, from Hofstra University.

Stacey Follon, Sr. Manager, Human Resources

Stacey is responsible for all human resource related activities at AVIATION WEEK. Stacy’s experience includes working within several other divisions of The McGraw-Hill Companies, including McGraw-Hill Construction, as well as 8 years at Bloomberg L.P. serving in various international roles including assignments in London, Sydney and Singapore regions. She received her BA from Florida State University.

Greg Hamilton, Publisher, Strategic Media

Greg is responsible for a portfolio of growth programs including AVIATION WEEK's Conference & Exhibitions business and a range of publications including ShowNews, Defense Technology International and joint venture publications and events in China and Russia. Greg also leads the AVIATION WEEK Custom Media team, which develops print, on-line and onsite marketing packages across AVIATION WEEK's product and services offerings.

Greg earned Bachelor degrees in Journalism and Economics at the University of Missouri.

Raymond Lambert, IT Relationship Leader

Ray is responsible for information technology on both a strategic and tactical level. Ray has over twenty years experience in IT and has held numerous positions within The McGraw-Hill Companies since 1993.

Prior to joining McGraw-Hill, Ray worked in the insurance and banking industries. He holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Pace University.

Mark Lipowicz, Director of Content Development and Operations

Mark is responsible for developing and delivering online information and data products including Aviation Week Intelligence Network and MRO Prospector to AVIATION WEEK's customers across the aerospace and defense industry, commercial aviation operators, business aviation operators, military services, space operators and associated suppliers. He has been involved with business publishing for more than 25 years, working in editorial, market research and business development.

Prior to joining AVIATION WEEK he was an Associate Editor and then Manager of Product Development for Chemical Engineering magazine. Mark has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Washington University, and an M.B.A. in marketing from New York University.

Maurice LoBasso, Director of Finance

Maurice is responsible for leading all finance functions for AVIATION WEEK in addition to providing strategic direction to senior management on a broad range of planning and operational initiatives in support of the company's growth strategy. Previously, Maurice was Business Manager for Aviation Week & Space Technology, Business & Commercial Aviation and Defense Technology International where he provided financial support to the various publications and senior management on key investment decisions. Maurice joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2001 as Financial Analyst for the Platts division.

Prior to joining The McGraw-Hill Companies, Maurice held roles of increasing responsibility with Time Warner, Inc. Maurice holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from St. John's University and an MBA from Long Island University Graduate School of Business.

Anne McMahon, Group Director, Information Marketing Services

Anne is responsible for developing the audience for all AVIATION WEEK information products as well as ensuring quality service. With over 20 years in the publishing/information industry, Anne has extensive marketing experience primarily focused in the b-to-b information/media field and her experience includes direct marketing, database development, online analytics and search engine marketing, branding and communications.

Prior to joining AVIATION WEEK, Anne held previous positions at Lebhar Friedman and The Economist. She has a B.S. in marketing from the University of Scranton and an MBA in marketing from Fordham University Business School.

Jim Mathews, Senior Director, Integrated Production Organization

Jim is responsible for overseeing the production functions of both the editorial and advertising operations, ensuring that all content and material is produced with the highest standards of both quality and efficiency. Jim also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Aviation Daily.

A 20-year McGraw-Hill Companies veteran, prior to his current roles Jim developed and managed the news staff of the AVIATION WEEK's private-online and open web portals. Before joining AVIATION WEEK, Jim was a reporter and editor working in radio, magazines and daily trade journalism. He has studied at New York University and New York's School of Visual Arts.

Anthony Velocci, Jr., Editorial Director

Tony is the editorial leader of AVIATION WEEK products and services as well as the Editor-In-Chief of the flagship, Aviation Week & Space Technology. Prior to his appointment to the magazine's top editorial post, he was Northeast Bureau Chief and Senior Business Editor of Aviation Week & Space Technology.

Tony joined The McGraw-Hill Companies in 1989 as Editor-in-Chief of Defense World magazine. He has received numerous journalism awards, including The McGraw-Hill Companies' Corporate Achievement Award for Editorial Excellence and the Royal Aeronautical Society's 2002 Aerospace Journalist of the Year award (business/financial category) and 2006 award (air show category). Tony worked for a variety of business, financial and defense related publications before joining AVIATION WEEK. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and a member of the board of advisors of the University of Tennessee's Aerospace M.B.A. program.
