  • Photo: Alaska's First Boeing 737-900ER

    Here's a photo of the first Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900ER (N402AS).  The aircraft departed Seattle's Boeing Field on Tuesday to Paine Field for outfitting, before being introduced into regular service.

    This photo, courtesy of Joe Walker, shows the aircraft after it departed Boeing Field. The A321 in the background belongs to West Coast competitor, US Airways.
