American Airlines' order for 130 A321NEOs was placed back into Airbus' orderbook in January after a 13 month hiatus. American Airlines had originally placed the order in July 2011, but this was removed from Airbus' orderbook five months later as the order got caught up in American's bankruptcy filing. American Airlines’ last Airbus order was in August 1990 when it placed an order for a single A300B4-600R, its 35th of the type.
