United President and CEO Jeff Smisek says the airline will order 100 737 MAXes and 50 737-900ERS. The MAXes appear to be 737-9s, which correspond to the 737-900ERS. The order is a replacement for United's 757 fleet. The order pushes Boeing past the 10,000 order mark for the 737 family.
