While Monarch Airlines cancelled its order for Boeing 787s in 2011, its maintenance organization, Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL) is still part of the OEM’s support network for the aircraft. As evidence, in Monarch’s 2012 fiscal calendar report released today, the group notes that it undertook technical acceptance of LOT Polish Airlines’ first 787 before delivery in Seattle.
